This policy explains how Hangzhou Union Import & Export Co., Ltd. (trading as EXTRACUT Tool Master, “EXTRACUT”, “we”) handles personal data submitted through www.extra-cut.com (the “Website”). We are the data controller for the information described below.

1. What data we collect

We only receive personal data that you choose to send us:

• Enquiry form data — name, company, email address, phone / WhatsApp number, country or region, estimated quantity band, and your written requirement. If you enquire about a specific product, the product page address is attached automatically.
• Technical submission data — the page you sent the enquiry from, the language version you used, and the country derived from your IP address by our hosting network. We use this to answer you in context and to block form spam; we do not use it to profile you.
• Aggregated analytics — privacy-friendly page-view statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). No cookies are set and no individual visitor profiles are built.

We do not ask for, and you should never send, payment details, ID documents or other sensitive information through the Website.

3. Who processes it

• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the Website and its enquiry endpoint (content delivery and security).
• Resend, Inc. — delivers enquiry emails to our sales inbox. Emails carry a reply-to address set to your address, so our team can answer you directly.

These providers act as our processors and are bound by data-processing agreements. Enquiries are read by EXTRACUT sales and engineering staff only.

4. International transfers

Our office and factory are in Hangzhou, China. Because the Website runs on global infrastructure, your data may be transferred to and processed in other countries (including the United States) before it reaches our inbox. We keep such transfers within standard contractual safeguards and do not transfer data to countries without an adequacy decision without appropriate protection.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are retained as ordinary business correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet accounting and export-documentation duties — typically up to five years. A temporary copy of each enquiry is held for seven days purely as a delivery safeguard and then deleted automatically. Aggregated analytics are kept in anonymised form only.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to info@extra-cut.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our answer you may complain to your local data-protection authority.

7. Cookies

The Website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only storage used is functional (for example, remembering your language choice). Cloudflare Web Analytics runs without cookies.

8. Children

The Website is a B2B site intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Website or the law changes. The “last updated” date above always shows the current version.
